Yuba County has an incredible history and place in the founding and shaping of the State of California. Most local residents are not aware of the mining history, agricultural history, logging history, Chinese cultural history, Japanese cultural history, military history, and the many people who have done so much to make this State what it is today.
We are working with many of the County historical organizations to create a collaborative museum in downtown Marysville. Our goal is to create a unique and professional institution that will provide public access to many local artifacts and genealogical resources through centrally located, public exhibit space to display artifacts maintained by these organizations.
